Zahra had a fun playdate with Audrey this past week and we went to a gymnastics toddler open gym. Both the girls had a lot of fun. Unfortunately, my cameras battery died after 3 pictures.
Zahra being her normal goofy clumsy self.
Anil's parents came for the week and I learned how to make 5 new Indian dishes! These are pictures of a couple of the dishes. Now lets hope mine turn out to look something like these.
We took advantage of Anil's parents being at our house by going out for a double date with our friends Beth & Dave. It was so much fun and I only called once to check on Z. Of course she was doing fine. Anil and I hadn't gone out to eat without a toddler in months and months. We drove to Uptown in Minneapolis and went to my favorite restaurant, Fujiya! Did I say this already ....we had so much fun!!
Yes, that is a boat full of sushi. I had my favorite the Philly (raw Salmon & cream cheese) and only 1 piece of Hotate (raw scallop) another favorite. It was hard to resist eating more but I did. I felt very comfortable eating what I did from this restaurant. We have eaten here probably about 25+ times and have never gotten sick.
Luckily, I had a very good evening and never felt any nausea either! That was not the case the night before where we were in the triage and I was getting shots of Morphine & Phenergan. Oh well. I need to embrace this pregnancy as it is most likely my last.
