Wow am I behind on blogging…. I forgot my cord that downloads my pictures onto our laptop at home in MN. Which was unfortunate because I had many evenings after Zahra went to bed to blog about our fun days but I didnt want to without fun pictures. So here goes……
Our drive down there went very well. We took our sweet time and would drive 6-8 hours a day, check in at a hotel, relax, got eat dinner, and then call it a night. Zahra did fabulous in her car seat. She read, played her piano, watched lots of Elmo, and slept. We decided to take a little detour to South Carolina since we have never been there and have always wanted to visit. We stopped at Hilton Head for a couple days. It was beautiful there and just the beginning of the great weather we were going to endure for the next month.
Children's Museum
So the first week we were in Jacksonville the weather wasn’t perfect (still better then MN though). It was rainy and in the 50’s. I was bummed and pretty lonely for the first couple days . Anil schedule was less then ideal and would get home after 8pm on his regular days then every 4 days not come home at all for 30+hrs then he would sleep. He got a total of 4 days off when we were in Florida. Okay enough poor me. After a couple days of feeling pretty down, I got motivated and began searching for fun things that Zahra and I could do. We found a fun hands on Children’s museum and we found the library. By the end of the week the weather changed and it became sunny & nice!
Zahra is all girl!
So I have to back- up to the end of January. My dear friend, Brianna, watched Zahra for me one morning and she took these precious photos of her and Audrey.
Here we are back in FL. Zahra being her typical girly girl self. Her Grandma Patel gave her a bunch of bangles and Z has played with them for hours. Putting them on then off then on…..
Toddler Park
We had a couple friends that had spent sometime in Jacksonville with Mayo too. They gave us some good places to go and this toddler park was one of them.My favorite part was the turf!
This is all I can do for now…I am whipped. Time for bed!
